“Carry On” Featured on NoTreble.com

I am Super psyched to have one of my videos featured again on NoTreble.com! Corey Brown and Kevin Johnson at NoTreble have been super supportive of my music and I am oh so thankful to have them willing to share and feature my music on their website.

“Carry on” is a tune I wrote for two friends of mine who tragically lost their son at way to early of an age. I was asked to play at the memorial service and as I was going through song possibilities I thought the best thing to do was write something myself. This was something I thought was going to be extremely hard which on an emotional level was insanely hard, but really when coming from a place of raw emotion I feel music or any art form just tends to present itself and flows, the trick is to keep that flow going and get out of the way. I was very happy to be able to write a song for friends to hopefully help them through an impossible time, even for a moment. This has to be one of my favorite things about music in that it can be a way to transport a person to a different place during points in their life whether joyful or as in the case of this tune very, very hard.

In the words of Bob Marley “One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain”
